Guitarist TV Animation

How do simple ideas become realities?

Creating a television channel 10 years ago would have cost you a small fortune, actually...a rather large fortune - even with the technologies available in 2014, it will still cost you a lot of money to set it up from scratch.

Guitarist TV founder Michael de Jager decided to do the next best thing...IPTV.

Internet Protocol TeleVision first appeared in 1995 with the founding of Precept Software by Judith Estrin and Bill Carrico.  Read more here.

Michael set to work on Guitarist TV in early 2001 but only launched the channel on the internet in 2006 when the world's greatest guitarist, Joe Satriani, was interviewed by Michael's close friend, guitarist Peter Caldwell, at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham in June 2006.

A simple idea created by an answer to a great question.
